The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, has catapulted to stardom since her relationship surfaced with Prince William and the couple’s monumental wedding last year. Now the always fashionable Duchess will have some of her hats auctioned off at Kerry Taylor auctions on June 26.

One of the two hats to be auctioned off is a Philip Somerville design made from straw. Disc-like in shape, the hat is black and white with feather plumes and includes a horsehair woven brim. Middleton wore the stunning hat during the Order of the Garter in 2008.

The second hat set for auction is the Aurora hate featuring a swirling organza crown, which the Duchess wore to a wedding in 2010, just shortly before Middleton and Prince William announced their engagement.

Middleton got the hats from a shop nearby her family home in Bershire, which she frequently regularly with her sister Pippa and mother Carole.

At auction, the hats will be accompanied by copies of diary entries and receipts showing Middtleon’s connection to the shop where the hats were hired from.

At a previous Kerry Taylor auction, a dress worn by Middleton in 2002 fetched $11,950/
