James Franco to Receive Walk of Fame Star in 2013

Hollywood actor James Franco is set to receive a Walk of Fame star next year, according to the official 2013 honorees list.

Twenty-four Hollywood honorees were listed as star recipients scheduled to receive the Walk of Fame stars in 2013, including James Franco who is known for his breakthrough role on Freaks and Geeks. He has also starred in films such as The Letter, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, The Broken Tower, Your Highness, The Green Hornet, 127 Hours and Eat Pray Love.

Born in 1978, Franco is the eldest of three boys. He attended Palo Alto High School followed by UCLA where he majored in English.

In addition to James Franco, other A-listers that will receive a Walk of Fame star include Javier Bardem, Viola Davis, Ellen DeGeneres, Matthew Perry, Ron Howard, Helen Mirren, Jane Lynch, Jennifer Hudson, Janis Joplin, Steve Harvey and boy bands Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block.
