Hollywood’s Le Trianon Chateau Up for Sale

News | June 19, 2012

Those childhood fairytale dreams of owning your own castle may not be that far-fetched, as Hollywood’s historic Le Trianon building is, once again, up for sale.

The French-Normal style complex designed in 1928 by Leland Bryant has been listed on the market for its six-story tower and a small three-story wing overlooking a large landscaped courtyard. The turreted chateau, located on North Serrano Ave between Hollywood Blvd and Franklin Ave, is a deluxe apartment building with 55 bedrooms, hardwood floors and city views.

The property listing also notes a three-bedroom, three-bathroom penthouse unit. The historical landmark, which was last sold in 2004 for $5.3 million, is up for grabs at $6.8 million.
