Haute Event: 11th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball at Susan Harris and Hayward J. Kaiser’s Private LA Estate

Some of Hollywood’s most stunning starlets emerged from their not-too-shabby cocoons to attend the 11th annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 9.

Glee actress Lea Michele stunned in a backless Emilio Pucci frock with co-star boyfriend Cory Monteith as the perfect accessory as she arrived at the private Mandeville Canyon estate of Susan Harris and Hayward J. Kaiser.

Other celebrities in attendance included fashionista Whitney Port, True Blood star Ryan Kwanten, Eric Dane and wife Rebecca Gayheart, Ryan Murphy, Ashley Tisdale, Elijah Wood and LL Cool J; Steve Carell co-chaired and made a speech at the event.

The evening was hosted by Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane and raised money for the Chrysalis, a non-profit organization, which helps low-income individuals and the homeless to retain employment.
