Haute Drink: The £10,000 Diamond Jubilee Fizz Cocktail At The Four Seasons London

News | June 6, 2012

Amaranto Bar Manager at Four Seasons London, Davide Guidi, has created the ultimate celebration cocktail (with the ultimate price tag) in honor of her majesty’s coronation.

The Diamond Jubilee Fizz is a blend of Louis XIII Cognac, raspberry liqueur and rose essence, and is topped up with Louis Roederer Cristal Champagne. Besides the expensive cocktail mix, each customer will also walk away with a Leviev diamond. The £10,000 cocktail is available from the Amaranto Bar at the Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane, throughout the month of June.

Even with the royal price tag, the Diamond Jubilee fizz is not the world’s most expensive cocktail. That title belongs to a libation that was exclusively available at the Modiva Night Club for Christmas in 2007. The recipe includes Louis XII cognac, half a bottle of Cristal Rose champagne, along with little brown sugar, angostura bitters, and a few flakes of 24-carat edible gold leaf.
