Hang Ten at Solé East on Sunday

News | June 15, 2012

Chill out with your fellow surf lovers on Sunday night at Solé East in Montauk where Shelter: A Surf Movie by Chris Malloy and Taylor Steele, will be shown on the outdoor screen at 8:30 p.m. The weekly Surf Movie Sunday is free and open to the public, but if you want to grab a bit before, pay $25 for an all you can eat barbecue, which includes a glass of wine or beer.

Shelter is Woodshed Films’ third Moonshine Experiment surf movie. It follows professional surfers Rob Machado and Shane Dorian as they transform an old Australian farmhouse into a surfers’ paradise—a perfect film to reflect the ease and boho feel of Montauk during these early summer months.

Solé East Resort is located at 90 Second House Road in Montauk and the backyard restaurant is headed up by executive chef Larry Kolar who focuses on local and sustainable seasonal cuisine with a Mediterranean influence. for more information, click here.
