Four Seasons Pudong to Open on September 1

Located on the Huangpu river, the Four Seasons Pudong is expected to open in September 2012.

The hotel will be 55 stories high amidst the numerous Pudong skyscrapers. Expected to officially open in September, the Four Seasons Pudong appears to be nearly complete, however the entrance is still under wraps. The hotel will also feature residences, called Four Seasons Place. The hotel’s website previously stated that reservations are accepted for arrival from September 17, however construction appears to be moving along at a good pace because they recently announced the reservations will be accepted now for September 1.

The Four Seasons Pudong is nearby Shanghai’s World Financial Center, which houses the Park Hyatt hotel on floors 79-93.

According to the hotel’s website, the Four Seasons Pudong will offer an ambience inspired by Shanghai moderne, dialled up for hip, 21st-century tastes. The property will feature a unique Executive Club, an intimate spa with a city-view pool, and Shanghai’s most dynamic – or most discreet – restaurants.
