Exclusive Tickets to 4th of July Fireworks on the Hudson River

News | June 28, 2012

One of the most spectacular views seen from New York City is the Fourth of July Fireworks along the Hudson River. For the first time, the Hudson River Park Trust and Friends of Hudson River Park will be selling tickets for a private viewing of the dazzling pyrotechnics. These lucky spectators will have a prime spot at the tip of Pier 84. As a treat, the exclusive area will include food and music. Ticket prices are set at $200 for adults and $100 for children. The five-mile-long park made this decision in an effort to raise money for maintenance and development.

Due to crowd control, the New York Police Department has ordered that much of the park be closed; Pier 84 and a few other spots in the park will be open to viewers. Observers are welcomed to view the show from Pier 84; only the end of the pier will be occupied by ticket holders.
