Dixie, San Francisco’s Hottest New Southern Restaurant

News | June 11, 2012

Dixie is San Francisco’s hot new restaurant, a Southern-inspired concept by Chef Joseph Humphrey and partner Khalid Lahlou. Dixie is located on the edge of the beautiful Presidio.

In light of the Southern hospitality, you can only expect friendly and satisfying service in this fine dining destination. One of the more prominent features is Dixie’s expansive kitchen, a kind that Chef Humphrey noted as rare in San Francisco. The proud man is sending diners who order the tasting menu right to the chef’s counter, to enjoy a course in the actual kitchen.

Dixie offers a lunch menu during the week that changes daily, and is open for dinner nightly. On the opening dinner menu you will find delights from oysters to wagyu beef with yellow grits, buttered green beans and roasted shallo, to chicken fried quail, roasted garlic waffle and spicy cabbage salad and more.
