Check Out The Seaport Museum’s Intimate Exhibition Opening This Weekend

News | June 26, 2012

If you like open bars and supporting endangered museums, the South Street Seaport is the place to be on Saturday. The Seaport Museum is hosting a small show (that includes an Occupy Wall Street exhibition) that will feature a rollicking rock set by Amanda Palmer, a member of Boston-based “Brechtian punk cabaret” duo The Dresden Dolls. The Museum of the City of New York recently took over the three-story art space, which was founded in 1967, and was given a short amount of time to reverse its fortunes by Mayor Michael Bloomberg. $55 tickets are going fast.
