Wally 50-Meter ‘Better Place’ Launched In Italy With 67.5-Meter Mast
A few days before the Wally 50-meter super yacht ‘Better Place’ launched in Ancona, Italy, it got a pretty heavy makeover; experts successfully completed the stepping of her 67.5-meter long carbon mast, the longest ever manufactured by the United States facility Hall.
The exclusive sailing yacht has been equipped with a four-spreader high modulus carbon mast, an Oceanfurl boom, also the largest ever built by Hall, and a special mast collar to support halyards and sheets. Also, 18 antennas are mounted on the spreaders for the ultimate monitoring and navigation systems.
