The Hautest Hotdog: TheOnedog Sells For Over $1,500 each
On February, we found the world’s most expensive hot dog in Vancouver’s Dougie Dog, each worth $100. Today however, we came across a dog that beats Dougie Dog’s record by a landslide.
Little Rock’s “Hot Dog Mike” Juilano sold four TheOnedogs on May 11, each costing $1,501. The hot dogs comprised of a premium quarter-pound all-beef dog topped with a lobster tail, saffron aioli and gold dust on a potato bun.
The catch is that “Hot Dog Mike” actually only made $4. He donated the remaining $6,000 to The One, a nonprofit organization that supports the homeless in Arkansas.
