“Power Lunch with Warren Buffett” To Go On Auction June 3

Business magnate and philanthropist Warren Buffett is auctioning off a private lunch for the benefit of Glide, a social service institution in San Francisco.

Known as the  “Power Lunch with Warren Buffett,” the 13^th annual lunch auction will run from June 3 to 8 on eBay, with an opening bid of $25,000. The winner and seven of his/her friends will dine with the “Oracle of Omaha” at Smith & Wollensky in New York City on an agreed upon date.

All of the proceeds will go to the California charity, which works to lessen poverty and human suffering through services on health care, recovery, housing and many more. Now on its golden year, Glide continuously cares for more than 3,000 people everyday.

Last year, the bid winner pledged $2.6 million for this exclusive, once-in-a-lifetime lunch.
