Paramount PIctures to Develop Paramount Hotels and Resorts

Big-time production company Paramount Pictures is looking to take over the hotel business as well with its new Paramount Hotels and Resorts. The company is looking to adapt its hotels around subtle and creative hints of the Hollywood element.

Possibly the most striking aspect of Paramount’s new venture is its plans to make the entire collection movie-themed. This means each hotel will feature “mini-theaters” for guests, as well as a library of Paramount films. Paramount Pictures hopes to create as many as 50 luxury hotels in prime locations in Brazil, the U.K., the Caribbean, Russia, Qatar, Oman, South Africa and Indonesia. There has been no mention of intent to build any properties in the US.
