IWC Schaffhausen hosts Filmmakers Dinner at Cannes

Swiss watch manufacturer International Watch Co. (IWC) Schaffhausen brought more glamor to the Cannes International Film Festival by hosting an exclusive Filmmakers Dinner, in partnership with Finch’s Quarterly Review and Mercedes-AMG.

Around 200 prominent entertainment personalities gathered at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, including famous actors Robert De Niro, Ewan McGregor and Gerard Butler, topnotch photographer Peter Linbergh and supermodel model Karolina Kurkova. Reputed names from Friends of the Brand Eric Dane, Paulo Coelho and Tim Jefferies also graced the event.

The night saw the awarding of the Finch’s Quarterly Filmmaker Award from producer and media entrepreneur Charles Finch to Terry Gillian, an American-born British screenwriter, animator, actor and member of the Monty Python comedy troupe. The notable director also received an IWC watch with an engraved dedication for his exceptional flair in filmmaking.
