Hotel Americano Opens Rooftop Pool/Bar Just in Time For Summer

They say April showers bring May flowers…not exactly the case for the first two days of May in New York City.  No flowers and rain showers highlight this month so far.  But there is something to look forward to when the sun inevitably shines on New York.  The Hotel Americano in Chelsea opened La Piscine, a rooftop pool bar ideal for sunny days and festive nights.

La Piscine’s menu, created by Executive Chef Joseph Buensonjeso, consists of fresh Mediterranean fare prepared on the roof’s outdoor-grill.  Food is fun and dandy but liquor is quicker, the cocktails served up at the rooftop bar include Hibiscus Margarita, made with infused tequila, combier, agave and lime plus an eclectic array of beer and wine options.  Don’t forger to wait twenty minutes after eating before jumping in the pool!
