Haute fashion designer Marc Jacobs and French street artist Kidult have been in an artistic battle since Kidult spayed Marc Jacob’s SoHo boutique with pink paint last week.
Haute fashion designer Marc Jacobs and French street artist Kidult have been in an artistic battle since Kidult spayed Marc Jacob’s SoHo boutique with pink paint last week. Marc Jacobs took advantage of the colorful situation and made a $700 t-shirt with a photograph of the paint and a statement saying “Art By Art Jacob$.
After Jacob’s creatively responded to Kidult’s street art on his SoHo boutique, Kidult in turn responded by creating a t-shirt of his own. Thought not as pricey as Jacobs’ t-shirt, Kidult’s $10 shirt is currently on sale on his website and says “Not Art by Kidult”.
