Hermes International has officially announced a new Hermes family member to become CEO of the company.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the person that will succeed Chief Executive Patrick Thomas in running the company will be 42 year-old, Axel Dumas. As of the end of May 2013, Dumas will be made joint CEO, but in the future, will take over as CEO. Reportedly, no date has been confirmed.

Hermes International SCA, a France-based Company who has taken the world by storm by focusing on the manufacture, design and marketing of luxury goods, has attempted to protect its company with family shareholders’; however, since last year July, LVMH has taken 21.4 percent of ownership of the company, making tension flare between rivals.
