Haute 100 Lister Mark Zuckerberg Ties The Knot

Creator of the Facebook phenomenon and Haute 100 lister Mark Zuckerberg married his college sweetheart Priscilla Chan in a surprise wedding on Saturday. The couple invited 100 guests to what they thought was a surprise party for Chan, who recently graduated medical school at the University of California at San Francisco.

The wedding was hosted in the couple’s Palo Alto backyard and saw a performance by Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong as well as a fabulous dinner from Zuckerberg and Chan’s favorite restaurants, Palo Alto Sol and Fuki Sushi.

Zuckerberg met Chan at a party when they were both students at Harvard. The two have been dating for nine years.

Since word of their marriage leaked to the public late Saturday, more than 1 million Facebook users have “liked” Zuckerberg’s relationship status change to “married”. Chan’s status update has earned her more than 39,000 likes.
