Harrods Celebrates Diamond Jubilee with 31 Designer Crowns

The United Kingdom continues to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and London’s exclusive luxury department store Harrods is taking part in the occasion by displaying 31 crowns designed by the world’s leading brands including Bvlgari, Lanvin and Dom Perignon.

Located in Knightsbridge, Harrods is one of the world’s most renowned department stores, famous for their luxury brands and exclusive products. To celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, fashion, beauty, jewelry and cuisine designers have all created an elaborate crown to celebrate the Queen’s 60th year on the throne.

Of the 31, the De Beers Jubilee crown features 974 diamonds, of which 797 are polished and 177 are rough. Chopard’s crown includes the signature Chopard charms and Escada’s crown is intricately embroidered with lace. Bvlgari’s crown features an elaborate snake coiled around it while Lanvin’s crown sports a Great Britain flag, diamonds and a pink heart.
