Foodies Unite for Taste of the Eastside

For the second year, Taste of the Eastside returns to Los Feliz Barnsdall Park. On Sunday, May 6, check out the event to sample cuisine from restaurants in Atwater, Los Feliz, Eagle Rock, Echo Park, Highland Park, Silver Lake, among other neighboring towns. The festival is a great chance to try to drinks and dishes from local chefs as well as raise money for a number of organizations like Barnsdall Art Park, the Rose Scharlin Nursery School, and SEE Los Angeles.

Some of the program participants include Auntie Em’s, Canele, Cliff’s Edge, Cookbook, Elf Café, Four Café, Good Girl Dinette, Guisados, Hugo’s Tacos, Intelligentsia Coffee, L&E Oyster Bar, Large Marge Sustainables, Little Dom’s Madame Matisse, Malo, Pazzo Gelato, Proof Bakery, Reservoir, Square One Dining, The Farmer’s Kitchen, The Park, Xoia Vietnamese Eats, and Yucas. A wine beer garden will also be held, with samples from Eagle Rock Brewery, Golden Road Brewery, and Silver Lake Wine. Besides food and wine tastings, visitors will have a chance to check out seminars and cooking demonstrations.
