Ferrari Faces Chinese Uproar at Donut Debacle
An auto technician was spotted doing donuts on the City Wall of Nanjing in a Ferrari 458—and it’s causing quite an uproar.
Chinese citizens are up in arms at a rogue car handler’s behavior.
The iconic wall, located just a few hours from Shanghai, was rented out by Ferrari to celebrate its 20th anniversary in the Chinese market. The luxury auto brand also presented its special edition 458 Italia, inspired by China and available in only 20 units. When placing the car on top of the historic wall for presentation, one of the technicians took to the wheel and did two donuts, and there’s video footage to prove it.
