My friend Brett Heyman is bringing back the rage of the clutch with her retro-chic collection of Edie Parker handbags.

Brett is the former PR Director of Gucci, having also worked for Elle magazine, Giorgio Armani and Dolce & Gabbana in the past. She launched the vintage inspired line Edie Parker in 2010, inspired by the original handbags favored by showgirls and socialites of the 1950s and 1960s.

Her pieces feature geometric shapes, technicolor patterns, bold prints and they are all handcrafted here in the US.

The Edie Parker collection of acrylic clutches and handbags plans to hit Barney’s this summer.
