Derby Day At Freddy Smalls Bar + Kitchen

This Saturday, May 5, put on your biggest fancy hat for Freddy Smalls Bar + Kitchen’s Derby Day celebration.

From 12 noon to 4 p.m., Freddy Smalls will show the Kentucky Derby and offer mint juleps and Chef Charlie’s fried chicken sandwiches with house-made Old Bay potato chips.

To get in the southern spirtit, three types of mint juleps with crushed ice will be served

• Classic Mint Julep – Makers Mark Bourbon, simple syrup and mint
• Blackberry Mint Julep – Makers Mark Bourbon, wildflower honey, mint and fresh blackberries
• Maple Mint Julep – Makers Mark Bourbon, maple syrup and mint
