Christopher Guy to Open New Flagship Furniture Showroom in West Hollywood

Known for his luxury furnishings, Christopher Guy will be opening a new flagship furniture showroom in West Hollywood on May 5. In conjunction with the opening, Guy will also be announcing and celebrating the winner and runner-up of the Second Annual Christopher Guy-BritWeek Design Award.
From 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on May 5, Christopher Guy will be hosting an opening celebration of his new flagship furniture showroom. Guy is the creator and head of the Christopher Guy brand and has a unique eye for detail, passion for design and an international background that provides much inspiration for his creations.
The Second Annual Christopher Guy-BritWeek Design competition required students from more than 10 California design schools to create a piece of furniture or decorative accent piece based on haute couture hat designer Philip Treacy’s creations. The students’ work will be presented and judged at the opening of Guy’s showroom and a panel of judges, that will include Philip Treacy, will select a winner.
“It is fabulous to be opening this very special showroom in Los Angeles, especially coinciding with BritWeek,” said Guy, “This year we shall be honoring Philip Treacy for his services to the British design industry, as well as presenting Caliofrnia design school students who entered our competition with trips to visit a prestigious design show in Europe and my Singapore design offices.”
