Christie’s to Auction Over 1000 Items During June Luxury Week

More than a thousand treasures will be up for grabs as Christie’s New York presents “Luxury Week” from June 12 to 15. This four-day bidding will be an exciting sale of the most deluxe pieces of jewelry, watches, wines and iconic designs from the 20th century.

The auctioning will be a cluster per day, with New York Important Jewels setting the event in motion on June 12, offering more than 180 precious diamonds, gemstones and period jewels that could be collectively valued at over $10 million.

Important Watches take center stage on June 13. Among the number of Patek Philippe wristwatches to be featured are a rare 18k gold timepiece with two crowns produced in 1963 (reference 2523), and a vintage 18k pink gold split-seconds watch made in 1950 (reference 1436). Other pieces on the line, such as antique desk clocks, dress watches, jeweled watches, pocket watches and sports watches, are likewise branded with luxurious names Audemars Piguet, Breguet, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Panerai, Rolex and Vacheron Constantin. There will be around 300 lots for this chronograph segment.
