Chloe Sevigny Puts East Village Garden Co-Op on the Market for $1.7 Million
Actress Chloe Sevigny has put her East Village co-op on the market a month after extolling it’s dark, low-ceilinged, “womb-like” virtues in New York magazine’s design issue. The Big Love star and perennial downtown It girl is listing the 1BR/1.5BA apartment on East 10th Street for $1.7 million. The 1,250 square-foot ground floor pad is replete with exposed brick, but its biggest selling point might be a well-manicured private garden out back.
Sevigny mentioned in the New York interview that she was tired of the rules required by co-op living. No word yet on where the fashion muse might settle next, but given her alternative pedigree we’d be surprised if she ventured north of 14th Street.
