Art Rock Rocks the West Palm Beach Armory

News | May 11, 2012

On Saturday May 12, West Palm Beach’s Armory Art Center will be transformed into   a haute-spot for DIY art from south Florida’s art community at the Art Rock event.

Organized by the Armory Art Center and Amanda Linton, creator of Stitch Rock in Delray Beach, patrons will be able to support more than 60 local artists. Paintings, sculptures, ceramics, prints, photography, fabric art and edible art will be up for grabs from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Armory faculty will be on hand to demonstrate wheel-throwing techniques, drawing and painting. While the adults peruse the armory-turned-gallery, a free children’s activity  will keep the little ones occupied.

Admission for adults is $5 and children under 12 are admitted free if accompanied by an adult. For more information visit artrockrocks.com
