Angelina Jolie Buys Brad Pitt $1.6 million Helicopter

“Just because” gifts are a sure-fire way to surprise your sweetheart. They are usually small and sweet, and given as a way of saying, “I was thinking about you” or “I love you”.

But Angelina Jolie went way past small and sweet and bought Brad Pitt a $1.6 million helicopter + flying lessons … “just because”.

The power couple have had a helicopter pad installed in their Chateau Miraval home in the south of France, which they will now soon make use of. They hope to be able to fly to and from Cannes – starting this month, where they will attend the Cannes Film Festival for the premier of Pitt’s new underworld movie “Killing Them Softly”. Brad Pitt has a private pilot’s license, and with a few flying lessons he will be in the air with his new boy-gadget in no time.
