Turtle Island’s Family Time

News | April 12, 2012

Turtle Island Resort, which is usually a couple’s only resort, opens its doors to family events a few times every year. In the effort to keep the resort suitable for couples, children below the age of 5 are put with a nanny, while those six and older are assigned a Bula Buddy to be their companion and playmate while parents enjoy their vacation. This allows adults to get the privacy they desire without abandoning their children at home.

When Turtle Island is open for families, the activity directors make efforts to ensure children have plenty to keep entertained, ranging from fishing, sports, swimming and water activities to crafts and games.
