Maybach Production to Cease by 2013
The clock is ticking for prospective Maybach buyers. After almost a decade of not turning a profit, Daimler announced that production of the haute sports car will cease by 2013.
Daimler is on track to sell out its inventory of Maybach 57 (starts at $376,300) and 62 (starts at $427,700) vehicles by next year, and the company is subsequently offering a $100,000 rebate to buyers.
