Luxury Boutique Fivestory Now Open on Upper East Side

Fivestory is a new a multilevel luxury boutique on East 69th Street, tucked seamlessly behind the walls of a classic Upper East Side townhouse façade. Though the third floor of the boutique soft-opened in February, the entire townhouse is open for business as of Apr. 19.  The concept is the vision of former gallerist and Fivestory owner Claire Distenfeld. The official lure is “part maven, part luxury retail, Fivestory is a connoisseur’s world of curated art”–highlighting the function of the shop, which is to curate worldwide with uptown sophistication on the fore mind.

Fivestory is the place to go for unique–and I’m talking about the true sense of the word which implies one of a kind–pieces. Offerings from Fivestory from international talent can be found nowhere else in the United States and the boutique forged exclusive collaborations with domestic, locally New York companies such as Lulu Frost and Eleven Objects. The inside of the townhouse, fascinating artifacts aside, is sure to stun. Distenfeld enlisted the talents of designer Ryan Korban for the interiors.
