Haute Event: The Gazillionaire and the Cast of ‘Absinthe’ Donate Bar Vendome to First Friday

On Friday, April 6, The Gazillionaire and cast of “Absinthe” attended First Friday arts celebration to donate Bar Vendome to the monthly event. At the unveiling at Beauty Bar, Gaz presented Zappos.com founder Tony Hsieh with the first pair of gold shoes ever to be bestowed to another person thus making him the very first member of “The Gazillionaire’s Gold Shoe Club.”

“Tony is the first member of the Gazillionaire’s Gold Shoe Club,” the Gazillionaire said. “The club is a very exclusive and comprises of Las Vegas richest and most powerful people. The shoes are customized for each member and a photo of them will appear on a plaque inside the Spiegeltent — in my soon-to-be trophy room. Tony embodies all that is great about being wealthy and influential in Vegas. Basically using that money to do cool s#%*!”
