Haute Event: Symphonix Spring Fling

Symphonix, the San Francisco Symphony’s young professional league, hosted their spring membership party at Txoko on March 27th. Neither rain nor wind nor cold could keep the lively professionals from getting donned in cocktail attire for the Spring Membership Event.
Symphonix president, Valerie Bantner Peo, vice president, Ye-Hui Lu and event chair, Macaire Kilkenny greeted members and guests and made introductions. Txoko’s welcoming and open space was the perfect setting for guests to mingle and enjoy a savory selection of hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, wine and dancing. Valerie Bantner Peo explained the importance of the event. “Membership contributes a significant part of our fundraising efforts and we’re delighted to have had overwhelming attendance and support from individuals and the corporate community.”
Proceeds benefit the San Francisco Symphony and its education and community programs, providing music education to over 75,000 Bay Area children each year.
