Fashion Meets Cycling at Paul Smith Concept Store

News | April 17, 2012

The fashion label Paul Smith has teamed with Harrods, London to open a tour de force cycle pop-up shop on the sport store’s fifth floor.  Paul Smith for Harrods, which opened last week, is open for the next two months.

The designer, Paul Smith is an avid cycling fan but turned to the world of fashion after an injury during his teenage years.  Along with made-to-order bicycles, the concept store is selling the Rapha + Paul Smith Collection cycling jerseys and T-shirts with adventurous designs such as purple shirts with black polka dots and blue shirts with an array of white stripes.

The shirts have a vintage look to them since Smith draws his inspiration from his cycling years, but they also keep up with the times with trendy patterns and fitting sizes.
