A New Home for Armani/Casa: The Italian Furniture Showroom Opens in Miami’s Design District
The continuous expansion of Miami’s Design District has been punctuated by the popping up of high-design outposts in both the fashion and interior design arenas. That said, it’s a special treat when we are graced with the presence of a showroom that marries the sensibility and aesthetic of a storied fashion house and translates it to home appointments that are in the same vein, so to speak.
Enter: Armani/Casa.
On April 11, Armani/Casa opened its doors on NE 39 St., right in the heart of the District; and said opening was met with open arms. Some 400 guests showed up to catch the unveiling of this gem of a showroom including, but not limited to Detroit Lions’ Stephen Tulloch and girlfriend, Vanessa Alleyne, Alex Rodriguez-Roig, Amaris Jones, Gil and Lorena Dezer, Edgar and Nicole Lozano, Univision’s Rodner Figueroa, Giampiero De Persia, City of Hallandale Beach Commisioner, Alex Lewy and Haute Living CEO, Kamal Hotchandani.
The 340-square meter showroom acts as home to a distinct concept where furniture and home appointments sit amongst accessories and fabrics for a wide offering that speaks to a similarly wide audience. From private clients to property developers, the most discerning customer finds a home at Armani/Casa.
And in true Armani style, guests enjoyed elegant hors d’oeuvres prepared by Chef Richard Henry while sipping on some properly Italian Prosecco. And nobody left empty handed; the evening ended with the individual gifting of an assorted box of delicious Armani Dulci chocolates.
