1234 Shoreditch Announces Upcoming September Festival With Launch Party

1234 Shoreditch announced its upcoming festival in an unconventional and epic way: by throwing a party.

Rich Mix on Bethnal Green Road will host the launch of London’s most innovative and independent hipster-friendly festival Friday, which will include a performance by the Savages and will be DJed by S.C.U.M.

The one-day festival itself will take place in Shoreditch Park, but it’s moved to September for the first time. The line-up is still under wraps, but attendees can expect a collection of anti-conformity and cutting-edge artists. In the past, the likes of Breton, Crystal Fighters and These New Puritans have graced the staged with their presence.

The launch party, branded 1234 Action #1, is the first of four events running up to the actual festival on Sept. 1.
