Last night, Mar. 26, marked the premiere of the late Jules Massenet’s “Manon” at The Metropolitan Opera House. Sponsored by Yves Saint Laurent, the premiere drew haute guests including Emma Roberts, January Jones, Emmy Rossum, Amber Heard of “The Rum Diary” and Chloe Moretz from “Hugo”.
Manon was first performed Opéra-Comique in Paris on January 19, 1884, the reprisal of the five act show stars Anna Netrebko, Piotr Beczala and Paulo Szot.
