The Lycée Français de New York–literally meaning the French School of New York, held its annual gala Saturday evening at the Park Avenue Armory. The gala honored fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier. Aside from the guest of honor, also in attendance were, Coco Rocha, Hannelore Knuts, famed restaurateur Eric Ripert with Sondra Ripert, Linda Evangelista, Veronica Bulgari, Sabina Schlumberger, Pamela Berkovic and Fadwa Robb.
The Lycée Français de New York is a non-profit, private school that enrolls 1350 students representing over 50 nationalities from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. The 2012 Gala supports the 20 percent of the student body receiving financial aid.
