The America’s Cup one of the world’s leading sporting competitions featuring the best sailors on the world’s fastest boats, the wing-sailed AC45 and AC72 catamarans.  Nearly 160 years old, it is the oldest trophy in international sports.

In 2010, San Francisco was proudly selected as the host city for the 34th America’s Cup (AC34), an epic event that will draw millions of visitors and spectators, create 8,800 jobs and generate nearly $1.4 billion in economic impacts to the city.

AC34 begins in the San Francisco Bay in the summer of 2013 with the Louis Vuitton Cup from July 4 to September 1, 2013 to determine who will race the Defender, ORACLE Racing, in the America’s Cup Finals from September 7 to 22, 2013.

Last month, Epic Roasthouse hosted an introductory cocktail soiree for America’s Cup Corporate team helping to kick off the 2012 season.  Guests in attendance at the intimate affair had the opportunity to hob-nob with some of the top sailing/racing athletes in the world while sipping cocktails and enjoying spectacular bay views.
