Owned by Sir Richard Branson, Virgin Limited Edition, a luxury collection of retreats, will be opening a new property called Mahali Mzuri in Kenya in 2013.

Virgin Limited Edition is Sir Richard Branson’s collection of luxury retreats, including private islands, mountain retreats, game reserve, catamaran, lodges, submarines, restaurants and private members clubs.

The latest retreat to come from the collection is Mahali Mzuri, which will be a luxury Kenya Safari Camp located in Swahili, Kenya. Once open, the luxury retreat will feature 12 sleeper tents able to accommodate 24 guests at one time. The camp will also feature an infinity pool and ring-side views of wildlife viewing experiences. Open year-round, some of the tents will also be specially designed for families.

Located approximately 240km west of Nairobi, the property will be situated within the Motorogi Conservancy in the Massai Mara ecosystem of Kenya.

Based on double occupancy, rates are expected to be around $580 per person per night. This price includes all meals, drinks and daily game drives in addition to unlimited access to the Olare Orok and Motorogi Conservancies.

Wild animals such as wildebeest, elephants, zebra, lions, leopards, cheetah, giraffe, impala, gazelles, antelope, hippos, warthogs and hyenas roam the Kenyan plains and on a typical game drive at Mahali Mzuri you’ll be able to see many of them. An experienced team of Field Guides guide visitors twice daily in open vehicles.
