Restaurateur Gabe Stulman opened his highly-anticipated new locale Perla earlier this week. The new installment is in the old Bellavitae space at 24 Minetta Lane. The cuisine is “a combination of contemporary and traditional Italian,” Stulman told Eater NY. Michael Toscano, of Eataly’s Manzo fame, is in charge of the Perla kitchen.
Eater released the first photos of the interior, which boast a wood burning oven, a cocktail bar, a charcuterie counter, and plush red leather booths.
