Olivia Palermo Curates AHAlife For International Women’s Day

News | March 8, 2012

In honor of International Women’s Day, AHAlife has partnered with respected fashion and lifestyle blogger Olivia Palermo, Baking for Good and Pencils of Promise, a non-profit organization that builds schools in developing countries.

Palermo has curated a selection of her favorite cookies from Baking for Good, which will donate 15 percent of profits to Pencils of Promise, which in turn will use the funds to build a dormitory for a girls’ school in Laos. The proposed dormitory will house 450 young women between the ages of 13 and 17 and will go a long way toward bridging the education gap in this impoverished country.

AHAlife also features a selection of 14k gold and silver bracelets that benefit a non-denominational soup kitchen as well as homeless shelter.
