Monika Jakisic’s Blog: 45th Anniversary Of The Advocate
Last night, I attended the celebration for The Advocate 45th anniversary presented by Lexus with my girlfriend Serinda Swan from the Breakout Kings .
We came not only to support the magazine and their amazing work, but also to support the Point Foundation in their mission to grant scholarships to GLBT students and merits.
It was an amazing night a performance by Macy Gray, a gay mens chorus of Los Angeles and Advocate heroes such as Dustin Lance Black , Robin Tyler and Rev. Troy Perry among others.
Additional guests included Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Betty DeGeneres, Cloris Leachman, Max Greenfield, David Burtka, Renee Olstead, George Kotsiopoulos, Perez Hilton, Traci Lords and West Hollywood Mayor John Duran.
