Haute Toys: Philippe Starck Designs V + Volteis

Debuting at The Geneva Auto Show, the V + Volteis by Philippe Starck was designed for the consumer that dislikes the aggressiveness, noisiness and dirt typically associated with standard cars. The idea is that the  V + Volteis will be green alternative when seeking transportation at vacation homes or even for hotels and island resorts looking for a way to transport  guests.

This electric vehicle has a 1960s beach theme combined with the struction of a moom rover.  The seats are nothing but a metal frame wrapped in plastic straps similar to lawnchairs and come with seatsbelts but no airbags. There is also no trunk but a wicker basket upfront instead and the roof is made of fabric.

The EV ar will be sold through 15 different stores in France and eventually sold in other major cities around the world. It retial around $40,000.
