British fashion house, Alexander McQueen, has revamped its website, following the surge of designers who are turning their attention to e-commerce and reaching customers through their websites. McQueen has increased its e-commerce outlets and included a “My McQueen” section where customers can customize their pages and save McQueen images.
Previously, McQueen e-commerce was only available in the US and UK, however with the website revamped, the products are now available in 30 countries, including Italy, Norway and France.
The new site features a scarf boutique, a micro-site for the diffusion line McQ, runway videos and images, and a image pin board where users can save pictures, share pictures and curate their own pages.
Many fashion houses are revitalizing their websites in an effort to have users experience their line on a new level.
