Hand Crafted: NY-Based Artist, Stephanie Hirsch Brings Mixed-Medium Art to Miami

HauteLiving.com, National Fashion Director, Jilian Sanz, and a slew of notable Miamians, including Channing Norton, Jillian Jacobson, Violet Camacho, Josh Wollowick and Alyssa Reboh, are hosting a stellar reception this Saturday, March 10 for New York-based artist Stephanie Hirsch at Miami’s own Design District.

The exhibition, Who Will Save Your Soul, is a combination of iconic images realized through her detailed, hand-beaded designs. Hirsch states, “Mental and physical blockages in life are often self- inflicted, both literally and figuratively. I explore my journey through life as a quest to uncover the truth around me and to express my position through the multifaceted meanings inherent to the words we use and actions we do.”

Hirsh’s work has received a lot of attention and was recently displayed at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Star Lounge in Lincoln center, in New York City.  Her pieces included black and gold hand-beaded canvas that read Keep Calm and Carry On and pillows with “I©MBFW” designs.  The artwork gave the Star Lounge a very unique, sophisticated, and modern styling.
