The Festival of Italian Cinema: Venice to Moscow opens its doors for its third year Monday.

Over the course of the week, it will feature a selection of contemporary films picked from the Venice Film Festival.

The event, organized by the Institute of Italian Culture, will be concluded by the screenings of several Russian films, including a series of films by director Alexander Sokurov.

What’s special about this festival is the participation from actors and directors flown in from Italy who are scheduled to give talks and discussions about their entries.
