Face First: The beauty look behind Dolce & Gabbana’s runway show

At every runway show, there’s a strong message behind the face created to complement the fashions. In fact, the beauty concept becomes a trend-web-spinning spider, of sorts, creating a must-have feeling amongst beauty devotees the world over.

And there are masterminds behind these concepts, of course. Similar to the expertise of the designers crafting the clothes, makeup artists act as creative directors of cosmetic concepts for the runway presentations. For this, the latest of Dolce&Gabbana’s shows, FW 12/13, Pat McGrath was said maestro; waving her wand to create a concise and melodic look.
