14th Annual Costume Guild Awards at Beverly Hilton

Celebrating the spirit of collaboration between Hollywood actors and costume designers, the 14th annual Costume Guild Awards took place on Tuesday evening at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.
Celebrities such as Rooney Mara, Jane Lynch, Kate Beckinsale, Chloe Moretz and Penelope Ann Miller attended the event, which pays homage to costume design in television and film.
Lynch, who was the mistress of ceremonies at the event and works with costume designer Lou Eyrich on “Glee” said that during her first fitting she was given an off-the-rack Adidas track suit and how Eyrich ripped it apart.
“’We are going to have to make them for you, [Eyrich] said. Now, I have 35 custom tracksuits in my wardrobe closet. And you won’t rip that track suit off by body until it goes into the Smithsonian,” joked Lynch.
Designer Eyrich was honored at the ceremony with a Career Achievement in Television Award and also won the award for Outstanding Contemporary TV Series (with co-designer Jennifer Eve) for “Glee.”
Other winners included Susanah Buxton won for Outstanding Made for Television Movie or Miniseries for her costumes in “Downtown Abbey,” Trish Summerville won for Excellence in Contemporary Film for “The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo,” Arianne Philips won for Excellence in a Period Film for her work on the film “W.E.” and Jany Temime was honored for Excellence in Fantasy Film for “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2.”
